Conservation Concierges was founded on the belief that environmental protection and economic empowerment are deeply intertwined. You cannot have a resilient climate without a resilient workforce.
By bridging the gap between advanced spatial intelligence, on-the-ground mitigation projects, and community-based job training, we are building a new ecosystem of stewardship. Our Climate Workforce initiative is the engine that drives this vision, equipping individuals with the skills to heal the land while securing their own economic futures.

About Our Community
The Santa Susana Planning Area spans over 4,000 acres across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and includes some of the most fire-prone terrain in Southern California. The landscape features dry & rocky terrain with hazardous fuels, defined by the chaparral biome that typically burns at a very high intensity during wildfire events.
Mountains play a major role in how wildfires ignite, spread, and challenge response efforts. Steep slopes, narrow canyons, and limited road access increase the difficulty of evacuation and fire suppression.
Most homes in Santa Susana are within the interface of the semi-rural infrastructure and wildland habitat. This interface, known as the wildland-urban interface (WUI), elevates the risk of infrastructure within. The region’s unique position within the wildland-urban interface makes it vulnerable to the impacts of wildfire.
